ORDER

This petition is filed seeking direction to the 2nd respondent to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner from the hands of the 3rd respondent.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that the representation that was made by the petitioner was already disposed of by the second respondent herein, on the basis of the undertaking given by the petitioner.

3. After going through the entire records, it appears that due to the private transaction between the third respondent and the petitioner herein, over which, continuous trouble arose between them.

4. Since the compliant itself is closed, on the basis of the undertaking given by the petitioner, at this stage, the question of granting police protection does not arise.

5. This Court does not find any merits in this case. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
