ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hand of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 420, 506(i) of IPC and Section 4 of TNPWH Act, in Crime No.500 of 2015, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is an innocent and he has been falsely implicated in the above case. He further submitted that due to the dispute between the petitioner and one Dr.Ragupathy, relating to money transaction, the said Dr.Ragupathy instigated the defacto complainant to lodge a false complaint against the petitioner. He further submitted that already investigation has been completed and the charge sheet has also filed and therefore, he requests grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
3.Per contra, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that the petitioner by giving false promise that he will get job in the Sports Department, received a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs only) and for that one Dr.Ragupathy was the witness and subsequently the petitioner did not make any arrangement for getting job and also refused to return the amount and hence, he strongly opposed this petition.

4.Considering the allegation made against the petitioner that he received a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs only) from the defacto complainant by giving a false promise that he will arrange for job and subsequently, he refused to pay the same, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 5.Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. sd/- 17/07/2019 / TRUE COPY / Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
