Mrs.V.P.M.Vaishnavi, learned Government Advocate, takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

2. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. The petitioner preferred the present writ petition alleging that his property in Survey No.141/5 with an extent of 7 acres 95 cents situated at Marungaoor group, Pullur Firka, Thiruvadanai Taluk, Ramnad District, has been taken over by the respondents.

4. On notice, the learned Government Advocate submitted that no such acquisition had taken place and only the encroachments in the lake area were removed. The respondents have not interfered with the possession and enjoyment of the property of the petitioner. The report of Village Administrative Officer, Sirukambaiyur Group has also been filed along with the revenue records. The report is also taken on file.
