PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying, directing the first respondent to consolidate and transfer all the cases registered and received against the petitioners pertaining to the first and second petitioner Companies to the file of the third respondent and direct the third respondent to conduct a consolidate investigation and file a final report before the Special Court for TANPID Cases at Madurai. O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent to consolidate and transfer all the cases registered and received against the petitioners pertaining to the first and second petitioner Companies to the file of the 1/3

third respondent and direct the third respondent to conduct a consolidate investigation and file a final report before the Special Court for TANPID Cases at Madurai.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the second respondent registered a case in Crime No.26 of 2022 against the petitioners herein and subsequently, it has been transferred to the file of the third respondent which is pending for investigation.

4. Considering the above, the third respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.26 of 2020 pending on his file within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

5. With the above observations, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
