ORDER
This writ petition is filed seeking to direct the 3rd respondent to give police protection for the life and limb of the petitioner based on his complaint dated 10.03.2026.
2. Since no adverse order is passed against the 4th respondent, notice to the 4th respondent is dispensed with.
3. The property in Survey No.110/1A, 2B situated in Sirumalaipudur Village, Dindigul East Taluk, Dindigul District was purchased by the petitioner through registered sale deed in Document No.4692/2021. Since then, he is in possession and enjoyment of the same. Now, the adjacent property owner i.e., the 4th respondent herein is interfering with his peaceful possession and enjoyment, and threatening him with dire consequences. Hence, seeking police protection, the 2/5
petitioner had sent a representation on 10.03.2025 to the respondents 1 to 3. Since the same was not considered, this writ petition is filed.
4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

In view of the above submission, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to issue summons under Section 64 of BNSS, 2023 to the petitioner as well as the 4th respondent herein and thereafter, on inquiry, if the 3rd respondent police, finds merit in the claim of the petitioner, is directed to afford necessary police protection on payment in terms of GO.Ms.No.139, Home (Pol-VIII) Department, dated 04.03.2019.
6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. 23.03.2026 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No gbg 3/5
