: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Ist and 2nd respondents to survey the petitioner's properties in S.Nos. 394/1B2 and 394/2B2 respectively situated at Mazhaiyur Village, Karambakudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District and to fix its boundaries as 1/5

per revenue records by obtaining adequate police protection from the 3rd respondent police within the period that may be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

O R D E R

The petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to survey the petitioner's property. The petitioner has made an application on 18.02.2025 and thereafter has given a representation on 28.02.2025. The petitioner has also made a specific averment in the affidavit that she is not in good terms with the neighbours of the adjoining property and she apprehends breach of peace and seeks police protection as well. 2.In view of the limited relief sought for, with the consent of the learned Counsel on either side, the Writ Petition is disposed of, at the stage of admission.

3.The petitioner seeks survey of her lands in respect of which an application has also been made on 18.02.2025. The petitioner has already been issued with separate patta.

4.In view of the above, there can be no difficulty for the respondents 1 and 2 to proceed to conduct survey and the first respondent shall issue an advance intimation to the third respondent to provide adequate police personnel, to prevent any law and order situation arising at the time of survey. On such request by the first respondent, the third respondent shall ensure that sufficient police force is made available at the time of survey being conducted by the first and second respondents. The first respondent, with the assistance of the second respondent shall dispose of the petitioner's application dated 18.02.2025, after hearing the objections of adjoining neighbours, if any, within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
