ORDER

The petitioner has prayed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to issue patta in the name of the petitioner by making a representation on 19.02.2025. The petitioner claims patta to be transferred to his name on account of death of his father in whose name patta was issued wayback on 30.09.1993.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that as per the legal heirship certificate, apart from the petitioner, there are other legal heirs, who will have to give consent for separate patta being issued in the name of the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the other legal heirs have already expressed their no objection and he would invite my attention to the notarised declaration of the other legal heirs dated 22.07.2018. The learned counsel for the petitioner would state that the said affidavit was obtained even in the year 2018 and sSince there was a delay in obtaining the legal heir certificate, the application for online patta transfer could not be made.

In view of the above, the respondents are, therefore, directed to consider the petitioner's application dated 19.02.2025 as well as the no objection/declaration issued by the other legal heirs and the other documents in support to the petitioner's claim and thereafter, pass final orders on the petitioner's representation, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
