Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to remove the encroachment in and around the Temple namely Arulmigu Soottukol Sri Ramalinga Swamigal and its sub temples bearing New Survey No.55 Old Survey No.963/1 situate at 44, Pillaimaar st, Arappalayam Madurai on the basis of the Petitioner's representation dated 06.08.2015. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by R.SUDHAKAR,J.) Mandamus has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to remove the encroachment in and around the temple. If it is a temple land, it is for the temple authorities to take action against encroachment. Further, the petitioner does not state as to whether it is a road or a private land. Such vague prayer cannot be considered. Therefore, the petitioner is directed to approach the authorities with proper details to enable them to consider the claim of the petitioner.

2.With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
