Prayer: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to direct the respondents 3 to 5 not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry without due process of law.

ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 3 to 5 not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has no way connected with the offence committed by Mohammed Ilias in Cr.No.17 of 2021 registered by the respondent police on 10.04.2021.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that on the complaint lodged by the defacto complainant namely, Manikandan, a case has been registered against one Mohammed Ilias in Cr.No.17 of 2021 on 10.04.2021. It is alleged that the said accused Mohammed Ilias has cheated the defacto complainant to the tune of Rs.20,00,000/- and on various dates and the amount was transferred to the account of the petitioner by the said and also produced the statement of the account of the petitioner.
4.A perusal of the bank account statement, it is seen that the petitioner has received the money from the accused Mohammed Iliyas on various dates. In these circumstances, the respondent police is hereby directed to proceed with the case in accordance with law and if the respondents police 2/4
want to enquiry the petitioner, the petitioner shall be called for enquiry by issuing notice. If at the end of the enquiry it is revealed that the petitioner committed any crime, then the respondent police can take legal action against the petitioner.
5.With a above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
