This petition is filed seeking direction to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alangulam, Tirunelveli District to expedite the trial in S.T.C.No.1866 of 2018 on its file and complete the same within the stipulated time.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the matter has been settled out of Court and the Case in S.T.C.No.1866 of 2018 is dismissed as not pressed on 31.12.2020.

3.Since the matter has been settled between the parties, nothing survives for further consideration or direction in this petition.

4.Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
