: Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the body of the petitioner's wife, the detenue namely Umamaheswari, Daughter of N.Saminathan, aged about 21 years before this Court and set her as liberty.

O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH,J.] The petitioner, who is the husband of the detenu, has filed this petition.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the marriage was conducted between the petitioner and the detenu.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the detenu is living with her parents and it is a case of love marriage. During the enquiry made by the respondent police with https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the detenu, the detenu has also given a letter to the respondent police stating that she would like to live with her parents. Thus, we find there is no illegal detention.

4. For the above reasons, no further orders are necessary in this Habeas Corpus Petition. Accordingly, this habeas corpus petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to take action in accordance with law.
