ORDER

This petition has been filed for a direction to the second respondent not to harass the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner has to be enquired regarding a women missing case, which is pending in Crime No.236 of 2018, on the file of the second respondent police.

4. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got nothing to do with the said offence and there is no requirement for the respondents police to harass the petitioner.

5. From the submissions made on either side, it is seen that the second respondent police is investigating a women missing case in Crime No.236 of 2018. In the course of investigation, they wanted to enquire the petitioner with regard to certain facts, which will be material for the purpose of investigation.

6. The petitioner is directed to cooperate with the respondents police for enquiry and at the time of conducting the enquiry, the petitioner shall not be harassed by the police.

7. With the above direction, this criminal original petition is closed.
