Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to instruct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.10.2021 to take appropriate action against respondents 4 and 5. For Petitioner : Mr.R. Kannan For Respondents 1 to 4 : Mr.M. Sakthi Kumar Government Advocate (Crl. Side) COMMON ORDER WP(MD).No.8441 of 2022 has been filed for issuing a direction to the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry on the basis of the complaint dated 11.01.2021 lodged by the 3rd respondent.

2. WP(MD).No.8510 of 2022 has been filed for issuing a direction to the 1st respondent to instruct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.10.2021 to take appropriate action against respondents 4 and 5.

3. Heard the petitioner in WP(MD).No.8441 of 2022, who appeared in person and the counsel for the petitioner in WP(MD). No.8510 of 2022 and Mr. M.Sakthikumar, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police in both Writ Petitions.

4. The grievance of the petitioner in WP(MD).No.8441 of 2022 is that only on the complaint given by the third respondent dated 11.01.2021, he was harassed by the respondent police. The grievance of the petitioner in WP(MD).No.8510 of 2022 is that the representation, dated 21.10.2021 given by him was not considered by the respondent police.

5. Considering the nature of case, the respondents police is hereby directed to consider the representations given by petitioners in both the Writ Petitions dated, 11.01.2021 and 21.10.2021 respectively and to take suitable action on merits, 2/3

within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Both the parties are directed to appear before the respondent police for enquiry.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
