ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking transfer of investigation in Crime No.892 of 2009 from the file of the third respondent police to second respondent police.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), on instructions, submitted that the investigation in Crime No.892 of 2009 has been concluded and a final report was also filed in the year 2016 itself. He further submitted that the case was committed to the Court of Sessions in S.C.No.178 of 2016 and now pending trial before the Mahila Court, Srivilliputhur. According to the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), almost all the witnesses have been examined during the trial, excepting the investigation officer. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. In such a view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to grant the relief sought for by the petitioner. Hence, recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this criminal original petition is closed, as no further order is required to be passed.
