ORDER

The present writ petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to survey the lands comprised in Survey Nos.187/3 and 195/5A having an extent of 0.41.00 hectares and 0.49.50 hectares respectively situated at Bodikamanvadi Village, Aathoor Taluk, Dindigul District within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner is claiming right over the property through a registered partition deed dated 21.10.2021 in Document Number 1697 of 2021. The petitioner was allotted 'B' schedule and the third respondent was allotted 'A' schedule. Now the petitioner is seeking to survey the land.

3. Therefore, the 1st Respondent is directed to conduct a survey, measure the property with the assistance of the 2nd Respondent. The official respondents shall adhere to the following Standard Operating Procedures: (i) The official respondents shall issue notice to the Petitioner as well as the 3rd respondent immediately upon reaching the site where the survey is to be conducted in accordance with law.

(ii) After the survey, the Petitioner shall affix his signature again, indicating that the survey was conducted to 2/4

his satisfaction.

(iii) If the parties are not satisfied, the Petitioner shall still affix his signature, indicating his dissatisfaction or protest, along with the reasons for such dissatisfaction or protest.

(iv) The aforesaid procedure shall be strictly followed by all parties. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
