PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, directing the 2nd respondent police to file final report within stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court in Cr. No.241 of 2022 on the file of the 2nd respondent.

ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., directing the 2nd respondent police to file final report within stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court in Cr. No.241 of 2022 on the file of the 2nd respondent.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent would submit that the first respondent, after completing the investigation, has laid the final report as 'Mistake of Fact' and RCS notice was also served on the defacto complainant.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has received the RCS notice.
4. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, nothing survives for further adjudication and hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. The 2/4
petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy through appropriate proceedings.
