2. The petitioner challenges the issuance of no objection certificate issued by the first respondent in favour of the fifth respondent. The petitioner is running a petrol bunk in Meemisal East Coastal Road. His business interests will be affected if one more retail outlet comes up in the vicinity. This writ petition has been motivated by such considerations. The first respondent is a statutory authority and he has issued the impugned no-objection certificate after satisfying himself. No case has been made out for interference.
