This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner on 18.02.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. When the case was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the complaint dated 18.02.2016 has been transferred to the Land Grabbing Cell, Tirunelveli City.

4. Under such circumstances, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to go in person before the Inspector of Police, Land Grabbing Cell, Tirunelveli City and lodge a fresh complaint containing the same contents as found in the complaint, dated 18.02.2016 and on receipt of such complaint, the same shall be enquired into and action shall be taken in accordance with law, if it discloses the commission of a cognizable offence or drop action otherwise.
