Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of 1/3
Mandamus, directing the respondents to take the 50% of the part time service rendered by the petitioner i.e., from 26.07.1968 to 31.05.1979 along with the regulars service for teh pension benefits i.e. for the period of 29 years 1 months and 2 days. ORDER : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.THILAK KUMAR, Standing Counsel for the Appellants the court made the following order:- (Order of the Court was made by M.DURAISWAMY,J) There is a delay of 657 days in representing the papers. 2.Though the petitioners have explained the reasons for the delay, since the delay is on the higher side, we are of the view that the same can be condoned on payment of costs. 3.
Accordingly, the delay of 657 days in representing the papers is condoned on condition that the petitioners paying a sum of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand Only) to the Hon'ble Chief Justice Relief Fund within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which, the petition shall stand dismissed automatically without further reference to the Court. 4.Accordingly, the petition is ordered.
