This petition has been filed to direct the Inspector of Police, City Crime Branch, Tirunelveli City to register the petitioner's complaint dated 15.02.2016 as an F.I.R.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. When the case was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the complaint dated 15.02.2016 has been sent by the petitioner to the second respondent through post and now the case has been transferred to the Inspector of Police, Thachanallur Police Station, Tirunelveli District. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Under such circumstances, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to go in person before the

Inspector of Police, Thachanallur Police Station, Tirunelveli District and lodge a fresh complaint containing the same contents as found in the complaint, dated 15.02.2016 and on receipt of such complaint, the same shall be enquired into and action shall be taken in accordance with law, if it discloses the commission of a cognizable offence or drop action otherwise.
