Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents 1 to 5 to measure 30 feet Paravai - Oothukal Vaikal near Kondaimari Channel in S.F.No.114 of Vilangudi village Bit No.II Madurai North Taluk Madurai and lay boundary stones and restore the Channel and remove the encroachment in Kondaimari Channel made by the 6th Respondent and ensure the free flow of water in the Channel without any hindrance.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by R.SUDHAKAR,J.) The petitioner has come forward to file this writ petition seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 to 5 to measure 30 feet Paravai - Oothukal Vaikal near Kondaimari Channel in S.F.No.114 of Vilangudi village, Bit No.II, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai and lay boundary stones and restore the channel and remove the encroachment in Kondaimari Channel made by the sixth respondent and ensure the free flow of water in the channel without any hindrance.

2.Mr.M.Govindan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 submitted that action has been initiated to measure the property in question and thereafter, the authority will proceed in accordance with law. 3.Recording the said submission, the writ petition is closed. No costs.
