Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent herein to remove the mud/ sand block from the keelvari channel situated so as to ensure free flow of water through the Keelvari Channel to the Puliyankulam Water tank on permanent basis on the basis of the petitioner representation dated 17.07.2015.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by R.SUDHAKAR,J.) Mandamus has been filed to direct the first respondent to remove mud or sand block from the keelvari channel to ensure free flow of water through the Keelvari channel to the Puliyankulam water tank on permanent basis. In this regard, the petitioner has submitted a representation before the respondents.
2.Mr.M.Govindan, learned Special Government Pleader submitted that in respect of utilisation of water, there is a dispute between Puliyankulam village and Parambakulam.
3.In view of the above, we find no justification to entertain this writ petition in public interest. It is for the revenue authorities to resolve the issue after considering the rival claims. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
