This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the first respondent police to give police protection to the petitioner and his family members life and limb. 2.Today, when the petition is came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would submit that the complaint of the petitioner has been received by the second respondent and based on which, two enquiry has been initiated in C.No.G3/9256/830/2020 and C.No.19/D6PS/SB Reference/TPK/2020. He would further submit that after due enquiry, since the dispute between the petitioner and the third respondent is civil in nature, the second respondent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.7861 of 2020 police closed the enquiry and thereafter, advised the petitioner and the third respondent to approach the civil court. However, he undertakes to give police protection to the petitioner, if it is found necessary.
