Prayer: Writ Petition - filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3, to consider the petitioner's application dated 23.11.2017 to cancel the joint patta issued in the Nallampillai Village in S.F.No.569/3A in Manapparai Taluk.

Mr.N.Shanmuga Selvam, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3.

2. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to cancel the joint patta issued along with the fourth respondent and for a separate patta in respect of the land in S.F.No.569/3A in Nallampillai Village, Manapparai Taluk. Therefore, he filed a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petition before the third respondent. In respect of his petition, the third respondent Thasildar has issued a notice for personal hearing on 08.09.2017. Till date, orders have not been passed. Aggrieved over the long pendency of the enquiry, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, a direction is issued to the third respondent to complete the enquiry and pass orders, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Such exercise shall be done after giving due opportunity to the petitioner as well as to the fourth respondent and all the necessary parties.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
