O R D E R

The petitioner seeks a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 27.01.2018, for appointment to the post of Noon Meal Organizer in pursuant to the interview call letter issued by the second respondent in his proceedings dated 10.05.2017 and in terms of communication sent by the first respondent, in his proceedings dated 20.02.2018, within a stipulated period as fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and the learned Counsel appearing for the second respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the second respondent invited applications from the eligible candidates for appointment to the post of Noon Meal Organizer. Since the petitioner possessed required qualifications, she applied for the same and attend the interview. Thereafter she has not received any communication from the respondents. Since her representation dated 27.01.2018 to the respondents seeking appointment has not been considered so far, the present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent as well as the learned Counsel appearing for the second respondent would submit that the representation of the petitioner would be considered within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

5. Considering the nature of prayer as sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the petitioner's case, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.01.2018 seeking appointment and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
