ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A4, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w. 20(b)(ii)(B), 29(1) and 25 of NDPS Act, 1985 in Crime No.148 of 2023 on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused were found in illegal possession of 5.550kgs of ganja, hence the case.

3. Heard both side and perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report.

4. In this case there are totally four accused in this case and the petitioner herein is arrayed as A4. Further contraband was seized from A1 to A3 weighing 5.550kgs of ganja. Only on the confession of the co-accused this petitioner has been implicated https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

as an accused and he is none other than the son of the first accused. Further one similar previous case is pending against the petitioner, hence this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Hence the petition stands dismissed.
