Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 herein to secure the detenues namely MATHAN RAGAVENDRA, S/o.Nallasivan, aged about 23 years and HEMANJI D/o.Dhayalal Patel, aged about 23 years and produce the body of the detenues before this Hon'ble Court and set them at liberty.

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner is the father and father-in-law of the of the detenues. The detenues have since married through a registered marriage in the State of Kerala. The girl has informed us that she is ready and willing to go with the petitioner, but she apprehends threat at the hands of the respondents 5 & 6 being her family members.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has assured that an adequate protection will be given to the petitioner's son and daughter-in-law.
3.In such view of the matter, this petition stands closed giving liberty to the petitioner to give a complaint seeking police protection.
