Prayer: Writ Petition - filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to make the necessary renovation and repair work at the pay and use toilet, situated near Sixteen Pillar Mandapam at Thiruparankundram and hand over the same to the petitioner, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 31.03.2018. The petitioner is before this Court for disposal of the representation dated 31.03.2018.

2. The petitioner is a successful bidder in respect of the pay and use toilets, situated near Sixteen Pillar Mandapam at Thiruparankundram. Even though the respondent has awarded the contract to the petitioner for running the pay and use toilets, the property cannot be used in a unusable condition, such as, in a damaged condition and without electricity connection. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation to the respondent to repair and renovate the pay and use toilets for the purpose of running his business as per the tender conditions. The petitioner's representation dated 31.03.2018 is lying on the file of the respondent without any progress.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, a direction is issued to the respondent to consider the

representation made by the petitioner dated 31.03.2018 and take appropriate action, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
