ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to disburse a sum of Rs.4,01,500/- for the completion of contract work in Meenakshipuram and Rs.3,75,000/- for the completion of contract work in Toovipuram, Toothukudi City Municipal Corporation, based on the M-Book, along with interest at the rate of 12% per annum from the date of completion of the work.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent submitted that the petitioner has duly completed the work awarded to them on 09.12.2020. It was further submitted that the measurements were also completed pursuant to the petitioner's representations.

3. The learned Standing Counsel further submitted that the amount will be disbursed in due course.

4. Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of in terms of the undertaking given by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent. No costs.

5. List the case on 28.08.2025 under the caption ''for reporting compliance''.
