ORDER

This petition has been filed for a direction to the 2nd respondent herein not to harass the petitioners in name of enquiry without due process of law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that on the complaint given by one Kutti Mani, a petition enquiry was conducted by the 2nd respondent and now for want of territorial jurisdiction, the matter has been transferred to Silaiman Police Station.

4. Therefore, the petitioner is directed to participate in the enquiry and during enquiry, he shall not be harassed. During the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, the Inspector of Police concerned, Silaiman Police Station, is free to register an FIR and this order shall not be a shield for the petitioner against arrest.
