This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to find out the petitioner's missing documents or issue non treaceable certificate (NTC) in respect of the documents Doc.No.1812 of 1994 dated 07.06.1994 and Doc.No.3421 of 1997 dated 06.11.1997 registered at the office of the Sub-Registrar, Sivakasi within a stipulated period fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given a representation dated 09.03.2023 before the respondent for missing of his Doc.No.1812 of 1994 dated 07.06.1994 and Doc.No.3421 of 1997 dated 06.11.1997 registered at the office of the Sub-Registrar, Sivakasi, but no action was taken as on date and hence, he has also sent a representation to the respondents. 2/5
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representations dated 02.02.2023 and 09.03.2023 are pending.
5. Considering the above, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry and complete the same by following the circular issued by the Director General of Police within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Depending upon the outcome of the enquiry, the petitioner shall workout his remedy through appropriate proceedings.
