JUDGMENT

(By G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.) Heard both sides.

2.The appellant's father was working as Bill Collector in Agasteeswaram Panchayat Union and he passed away on 17.10.1997. The appellant wants appointment on compassionate grounds. Her request was rejected by the Director, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Chennai. Challenging the same, the appellant filed W.P.(MD)No.4607 of 2017. The learned Single Judge dismissed the writ petition on 19.01.2021. Aggrieved by the same, this writ appeal has been filed.

3.We are not in a position to interfere with the order of the learned Single Judge and come to the appellant's rescue. This is for more than 2/6

one reason. The appellant's father passed away wayback in the year 1997. More than 28 years have gone by. That apart, the appellant had earlier filed W.P.(MD)No.104 of 2009 seeking the very same relief. The said writ petition was dismissed on 16.09.2010. The said order appears to have become final. That is why, the learned Single Judge rightly held that the present writ petition itself is not maintainable. No ground has been made out to interfere. The writ appeal stands dismissed. No costs.
