This Criminal Original Petition is filed for a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate Police protection to the petitioner and his family members to protect their life and limb from the fourth and fifth respondents and their associates on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner, dated 18.02.2016.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner earlier, a case in

Crime No.56 of 2015 for the offences under Sections 294(b), 447 and 506(ii) of I.P.C. was registered and the same was closed as 'Mistake of Fact'. For the same set of facts, the petitioner has now given a complaint. Based on which, a petition enquiry in C.S.R.No.32 of 2016 is being conducted by the respondent police.

3. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with a direction to the respondent police to complete the enquiry in C.S.R.No.32 of 2016 and take action in accordance with law or close the case.
