Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India,praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondent Nos. 1 and 2 to Extend the ordinary leave to the petitioners husband from 23.11.2023 to 13.12.2023 for further 20 days by considering petitioners representation dated on 10.11.2023. ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/s. SMA. Jinnah, Advocate for the Petitioner and of M/s. A.Thiruvadi Kumar, Government Advocate for the respondent, this Court made the following order: [Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA, J.] This miscellaneous petition is to amend the cause title.

2. According to the petitioner, she has wrongly mentioned the second respondent as "The Superintendent of Prison, Central Prison, Palayankottai, Tirunelveli District" instead of "The Superintendent of Prison, Central Jail, New Jail Road, Arasaradi, Madurai District".

3. It is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents that the petitioner's request has been rejected by the first respondent and to that effect, he has also produced a copy of the proceedings dated 05.04.2024 before this Court. 2/4

4. Taking into consideration the above submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and in view of the fact that the writ petition itself has been disposed of by this Court vide Order dated 17.11.2023, we are of the view that no purpose would be served by amending the cause now as sought for by the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, this miscellaneous petition stands dismissed.
