O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and protection for conducting the Kabadi Tournament to be held on 23.06.2018 and 24.06.2018 at Manakkarai, Malaiparvathy Amman Kovil Thidal at Tuticorin by considering the petitioner's representation dated 16.06.2018.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
3. According to the petitioner, he made a representation dated 16.06.2018 to the respondents to grant permission and protection for conducting the Kabadi Tournament to be held on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
23.06.2018 and 24.06.2018 at Manakkarai, Malaiparvathy Amman Kovil Thidal at Tuticorin. As no order has been passed in the said representation, the petitioner has filed this writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.
4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's representation is still pending with the second respondent. Therefore, this Court may pass appropriate orders to consider the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law.
5. Considering the submission made by both parties, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.06.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 22.06.2018. The petitioner shall enclose a copy of a representation dated 16.06.2018 along with a copy of this order to the second respondent.
6. This writ petition is disposed of, with the above direction. No costs.
