ORDER

Seeking for a Writ of Mandamus to forbear the second respondent from proceeding with the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner, till the conclusion of the criminal case, the present writ petition has been filed. 2.Heard the learned Counsel appearing on both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3.It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner is working as an Inspector of Police and his next avenue of promotion is Deputy Superintendent of Police. In the meanwhile, he was falsly implicated in a criminal case and due to which, the respondents have proceeded with the disciplinary action. Hence, the petitioner made a representation, dated 18.06.2018, to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondents to stall the disciplinary proceedings, till the conclusion of the said criminal case. However, there is no progress on the representation of the petitioner. Hence, the present writ petition came to be filed with the above prayer. 4.The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the departmental enquiry had already been completed. 5.Recording the said submission, the writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
