************ This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent herein to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner on the basis of his representation dated 06.06.2018.

2.The case of the petitioner is that he owns a property in Survey No.359/3 and 359/4 situated at Keelkurichi Village, Pudukkottai Districkt and certain persons belonging to the same Village are entering into the property and threatening the petitioner and demanding money. Hence, the petitioner has given a complaint to the respondent police on 06.06.2018. 3.In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to enquire the complaint and if there is any threat perception, it is for the respondent police to take action in accordance with law.
