This petition is filed seeking quashment of F.I.R in Crime No.19 of 2018, on the file of the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Thiruparankundram, Madurai District, dated 13.11.2018, which were registered for the offence under Sections 498(A), 494, 497, 4 of TN Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, 2002, & 109 of IPC.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that investigation was completed and final report was filed before the Additional Mahila Court, Madurai and the same was taken on cognizance in C.C.No.554 of 2020 and it was posted to 17.12.2021 for the appearance of the accused.

Crl.OP(MD)No.8761 of 2019 4.Since final report has been filed before the concerned Court, nothing survives for further adjudication or further consideration in this petition. Hence the petition has become infructuous. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the contents of the final report, he shall work out his remedy through appropriate proceedings.

5.With the above said liberty, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
