: Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records pertaining to the impugned detention order passed by the 2nd respondent made in his proceedings in C.No.23/Detention/C.P.O/T.C/2017 dated 01.08.2017 in detaining the detenu under the Tamilnadu Act 14 of 1982 as a GOONDA and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu namely, Babu @ Karumandapam Babu, S/o.Kamaraj, Male, aged about 28 years, who is detained in Central Prison, Tiruchirappalli, before this Court and set him at liberty.

[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J] When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, by producing a proceeding dated 03.10.2017 in G.O.Rt.No.4806, Home, Prohibition and Excise(XV) Department, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked. Recording his submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
