ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to invoke necessary provisions of law, to investigate and further direct the respondent to file a charge sheet in Crime No.242 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police.

2.According to the petitioner, based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a First Information Report has been registered by the respondent Police in Crime No.242 of 2018 for the offences under Sections 279 and 337 of the Indian Penal Code, but, sofar no investigation has been conducted by the respondent, hence the present petition.

3.Today, when the matter wast taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondent, on instructions, submitted that the investigation is over and final report is also filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.6, Madurai, and now, it is pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that the investigation is over and final report has also been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, no further adjudication is required in this Criminal Original Petition.

5.Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
