O R D E R

The petitioners have filed this criminal original petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking quashment of the proceedings, in D.V.No. 6 of 2016, pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Additional Mahila Court, Trichy District.

2. On 07.03.2016, when this matter came up for hearing, this Court has passed the following order:

"Notice of motion returnable by 4 weeks.

Personal appearance of the petitioners 2 to 9 is dispensed with on condition that the first petitioner shall deposit Rs.5,000/- (Rupees five thousand only) to the credit of D.V.No.6 / 2016, on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Additional Mahila Court, Trichy District, without prejudice to his defence on or before 5th of every English Calendar month. On such deposit being made, the wife is permitted to withdraw the same. Notice. Private notice is also permitted."

3. Subsequently, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners has given a letter, dated 14.03.2016, to the Registry, seeking permission to withdraw the above criminal original petition.

4. Since this Court is not inclined to admit this criminal original petition, the same is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected criminal miscellaneous petitions are closed.
