ORDER

The present Contempt Petition has been filed alleging violation of the orders of this Court, dated 11.12.2024 made in W.P(MD) No.2844 of 2024, wherein, this Court has directed the second respondent to consider the objections raised by the writ petitioner with regard to the recommendations made by the first respondent touching upon the alteration of date of birth.

2. Pursuant to the orders of this Court, the petitioner is said to have made his objections to the second respondent and the second respondent has issued proceedings dated 03.03.2025 accepting the recommendations of the first respondent and rejected the request of the petitioner for actuation of date of birth.

3. According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, no independent reasons have been assigned by the second respondent for accepting the orders of the first respondent. This Court is of the considered opinion that such a ground cannot be raised in the contempt proceedings and if he is so advised, the order of the second respondent dated 03.03.2025 can be challenged in a manner known to law.

4. With the above said observation, this Contempt Petition stands closed.
