Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the impugned order in Na.Ka.No.16136/Ni3/1/14 dated 20.10.2014 on the file of the respondent and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondent to keep the departmental proceedings in abeyance till the disposal of criminal case in C.C.No.142 of 2013, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, No.VI, Madurai, in Crime No.311 of 2013, dated 18.03.2013, on the file of the Inspector of Police, Anna Nagar Police Station, Madurai.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2.The petitioner questions the show cause notice dated 20.10.2014 issued by the respondent. The scope for interference at the stage of show cause notice is rather limited. The present writ petition does not fall within such grounds of interference. Therefore, the petition is liable to be dismissed. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that after the filing of the petition the respondent has not proceeded further in the matter. He seeks time to offer his explanation.

5..With this observation, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
