PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the respondent No.1 to withdraw the case in Crime No.3 of 2022 dated 07.01.2022 on the file of the 3rd respondent and entrust the same to the respondent No.2 or anyone of the police official in the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police for complete the investigation and file charge sheet within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for issuing a direction to the respondent No.1 to withdraw the case in Crime No.3 of 2022, dated 07.01.2022 on the file of the 3rd respondent and entrust the same to the respondent No.2 or anyone of the police official in the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police for complete the investigation and file charge sheet within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Today, When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that after enquiry, the case has been closed as mistake of fact and the closure report has been sent to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.7944 of 2022 concerned Court on 29.04.2022.

3. In view of the said submission, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to take further action in the closure report.
