ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed by the petitioner to transfer the investigation in Crime No.121 of 2016 pending on the file of the first respondent police to the file of the third respondent police.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the case in Crime

No.121 of 2016 was registered on 03.02.2016 for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 467, 471 & 34 IPC and after completing the investigation, the case was closed as mistake of facts on 28.02.2018. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has also produced a copy of the R.C.S. notice served upon the petitioner.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this criminal original petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy by filing necessary protest petition before the concerned Magistrate, if he is so advised.
