This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent police to handover the custody of the petitioner's Light-goods vehicle viz., Bolero Maxi Truck Plus bearing Registration No.TN-49-AS-0750 along with F.I.R. in Crime No.40 of 2016 to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pattukkottai.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. The Inspector of Police has filed a status report wherein it is stated that the vehicle in question viz., Bolero Maxi Truck Plus bearing Registration No.TN-49-AS-0750 involved in Cr.No.40 of 2016 and for the offences under Mines and Minerals Act, the vehicle has been handed over to the Revenue Divisional Authority, Pattukkottai, Thanjavur District on 11.02.2016. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner to work out his remedy before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Pattukkottai, Thanjavur District.
