PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, praying this Court to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the petitioner's daughter namely R.Sivaranjini, aged about 19 years or her body before this Court and set her at liberty based on the representation, dated 23.06.2017 and 28.06.2017. O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional public prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the Petitioner came to know that the detenue since married to the third respondent and that she is a major. In fact, both the Petitioner and detenue met each other in Police station and when a request was made to his daughter, a scene was created, pursuant to which a case has been registered. Considering the above, we find that there is no illegal detention of the Petitioner's daughter.

2.In view of the above, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed.
