This Criminal Original Petition is filed for a direction to the second respondent to register the petitioners complaint dated 29.12.2015 on the file of the respondent police and to investigate the same in accordance with law and also issue suitable direction against the first respondent to supervise the investigation.

2. When the case was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 29.12.2015, a case in Crime No.8 of 2016 has been registered for the offences under Sections 498(A), 294, 506(i) of I.P.C., Section 4 of Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

3. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
