Seeking to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner for the celebration of 'Panguni festival' in "Sri Arulmigu SanthanaMariamman temple" situated at S.No.88, Elumalai Perumalpatti Peraiyur Taluk, Madurai District scheduled on 24.03.2026 to 26.03.2026 by considering the representation given by the petitioner dated 12.03.2026, this writ petition is filed. 2.When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), on instructions, submitted that already the petitioner's representation dated 12.03.2026 has been considered and rejected because of the rivalry between two factions and the forthcoming election.

3.Recording the same, giving liberty to the petitioner to challenge the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
