ORDER

By consent of both sides, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. This writ petition has been filed praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to extend the period of lease to quarry stones in Survey No.32/1 measuring 1.22.0 hectares in Kavalakurichi Village, Alangulam Taluk, Tirunelveli District for a further period of 5 years from 11.10.2015.

3. Seeking the aforesaid prayer, the petitioner has submitted a representation to the respondent on 11.09.2015. Since the said representation did not evoke any response, the petitioner has come up with this writ petition.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that the representation of the petitioner will be considered by the respondent as early as possible in accordance with law.

5.Considering the limited scope of the matter, without adverting into the merits of the case, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 11.09.2015 and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to send a copy of this order along with a copy of the representation, dated 11.09.2015, to the respondent for earlier consideration.

6.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
